I began teaching myself hand lettering in 2020 as a quarantine hobby. I started Lettered by Madi as a way to produce pretty art for others. Once I was given the opportunity to make the signage for my brother- and sister-in-law's wedding, I knew that I wanted to work in the wedding industry. For the longest time, all of my signage was done completely by hand in my own lettering style. In 2023, I bought a laser that totally changed the game for me. With my laser, I had a new set of tools and was able to expand my offerings beyond my wildest dreams. I wanted to document this change with a new business name: Made by Madi Design Co. If you've been here since Lettered by Madi, I absolutely cherish the support you've given me and I would not be where I am today without you!

Hi, I'm Madi! I'm so excited you're here! I'm the face (and designer, producer, social media manager, etc.) behind Made by Madi. I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs (basically Wisconsin if we're honest--go pack go!) but moved to Arizona in 2018. I married my college sweetheart in 2022 and we have the sweetest pup, Phoebe. Being able to create dreamy signage for the most special days of someone's life truly never gets old

I really do apologize if my hair sneaks into any of your goodies. Mom says she cleans everything before they're wrapped and ready to go, bur she also put me in charge of quality checks, so I'm not really sure what she expects.
